Hello world!

Ready to embarked on your journey to enhance your career as a Massage Therapist or are you here to explore what we can do to help with your condition or your overall well-being? Continue reading below….

Massage Therapy isn’t some new-age trend that you see on TikTok—it’s been around forever. Every culture has its own version of it. In my Filipino culture, we have hilot, where village healers work their magic hands on your aching body, often with a mix of herbal medicine and oils. Got a headache? Hilot. Back pain? Hilot. Heartbreak? Okay, maybe not, but it’s worth a try. Technically, anyone with hands can give a massage. Even when you asked your toddler to walk on your back? That’s a massage.

Massage therapy had been proven to help with musculoskeletal pain, stress relief, and making you question why you don’t get one every day. In Canada and other Western countries, registered massage therapists (RMTs) aren’t just people with strong thumbs—they’re healthcare professionals who go through rigorous training and follow strict standards of practice. So, while your friend may swear they give the “best massage ever,” you might want to leave the real work to the pros.

Unfortunately, massage therapy has often been misunderstood and even carries a negative stigma. But over the years, I’ve made it my mission to educate people—both my clients and the wider community—about the benefits of massage therapy. It’s not just about relaxation; it plays a vital role in overall well-being.
