Here’s a little bit about me.
My name is Joyce, and I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist for 18 years. When I first started in this profession, it wasn’t exactly what my parents had in mind for me. Like many Filipino families, they hoped I’d become a nurse. And yes, that stereotype Jokoy jokes about? It’s very real—it’s part of our cultural expectations unfortunately. But I’ve grown to love what I do and hope to share my experience to everyone. I am still working as a massage therapist, I’ve built my own clinic over the past 7 years, I teach part-time, and now I am currently exploring new ways of sharing my knowledge and skills to those who are interested.
My goal is simple. Whether you’re looking to understand your condition and how massage therapy can help, keep exploring.
