Massage Therapy Hub

One of the best things you can do—even before you launch your massage therapy business—is to start marketing. This applies to any businesses. If people doesn’t know about you, they will not come to you.

Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter are powerful (and free!) tools that can help you gain exposure. The sooner you start sharing your massage therapy content, the better. I’m not saying these are the only ways to market your business. However, we are now living in the digital world. Many people checks our social media platforms before they even decide to book their appointments. Using social media is a great tool to attract new clientele. So put them to good use. It’s a matter of exposure.

Here’s what I wish I had done when I first started:

  • Post videos and content regularly. Whether you’re demonstrating massage therapy techniques, sharing wellness tips, or talking about your services, consistent content attracts potential clients. It’s very difficult to do this, but the earlier you start, the better!
  • Be the face of your business. I was hesitant to put myself out there, but now I realize how valuable it is. If people don’t know about your business, they won’t come to you.
  • Engage with your audience. Respond to comments, answer questions, and build relationships. Social media is a two-way street.

If I go back in time, I would have started posting years earlier. Don’t make the same mistake—start now.

More Practical Marketing Tips:

  • Create your brand early. Come up with a business name and logo—even before you open your practice. Branding helps people remember you. You can also print business cards with your logo and contact info.
  • Attend networking events. Meet people and hand out your business cards. These events can lead to referrals and build community awareness.
  • Introduce yourself to local healthcare providers. Reach out to doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopaths, and other professionals in your area. Let them know who you are, what you do, and where you plan to massage therapy practice.

Good luck!
